Home Theater Signs

Home Theater Signs-1Here at The Creative Alternative we’re always looking for ways to add that unique touch to our Home Theater that punches it up a notch. We stumbled across some fun Movie Theater signs recently. We’ve seen these types of signs in magazine photo shoots of some of the most lavish Home Theaters around. It just takes a sign or two, strategically placed to really give your theater a fun, but classic look.

Going back to the Grand Movie Houses of yesteryear, these signs add a touch of class to your installation. Please don’t go to Walmart and buy something off the shelf there. These are just tacky, badly made eyesores.

Exploring the various prop supply houses last month in Hollywood was a nice surprise for us. The prices that is… Ouch! Luckily you can find many of the same reproduction signs online with some effort. We’ve combed through various sites and found some fun options for you. These are just the tip of the iceberg if what you can find for your Home Theater. Take a look and see what fits the mood of your home.

We recommend trying more than one sign, to give a more immersive look to your theater. Most of us have our Living Room doing double duty as a Home Theater, so go with something classic.

For some fun elements, why not pay homage to the comfort foods of the movie theater with yesteryear’s signs. These may make you and your guests crave the ultimate move-watching comfort foods, so be sure to have some on hand just in case.

How about a sign that’s custom made just for you? You can get creative with the name, or use your own to add just the touch that’s been missing for your Home Theater. Made of long lasting and with a classic theater look, this sign will last for a very long time.

For the ultimate Home Theater entrance sign. Or should we say Marquee Sign! Go with this Neon Sign. Place at the head of the room, or if you have a dedicated room for your theater, place it just outside the entrance. What a statement!

Here are a few more options. These should give you a great start to adding the finishing touch to your Home Theater. Enjoy!
